It’s true!  We really did move!

Thank goodness the dust has finally settled and everyone and everything has a place.  (Well, sort of.)

You’re probably wondering why a company, any company, would move more than once in a year, right?  Well, we have one simple answer to your question… you, our customer, deserves the best our industry has to offer!  And to make that happen, we needed more space to produce, warehouse and ship all the new and best products you have told us you want!

Growing a business is challenging and ever changing.  What was good for last year often becomes obsolete today. Production cycles that once lasted years have now been reduced to weeks.  And in some cases, even hours! Sometimes a “jet pack” seems more appropriate than ever before.

Being committed to your customer and potential customers requires a degree of “embracing change” and stepping beyond your comfort zone.  Realizing the value of being alert to industry changes and customer desires is a hallmark of a true entrepreneur and business leader!

This doesn’t mean you have to move your business every year.  You just have to be willing to do what’s necessary to make your business grow to new levels of success!  We realized we needed more space due to increased demand of certain services and products.  You bet there was a lot of initial push back to the idea of moving!  (The unknown can create some strange emotional episodes!)

We wondered if we would appear to be unorganized and going after any “shinning object” of the day.  However, in the end, we put everything to paper, held multiple meetings, consulted our experts and decided to go “full speed ahead”!

Most of you are in the same position of growing your business.  We know that having good partners in your growth makes all the difference in the world. We also know that when we have the ability to do our job in in the best conditions we ultimately can help you grow your business too!  The future is bright when we work together to achieve common results.

So whether it’s corporate identity materials, banners, trade show exhibits, wide format, digital flyers, marketing collateral, direct mail or just an ear to help you decide your next level of growth, give us a call and let’s get the “ball rolling”!

It’s time to “think inside the box”!

When you start talking about packaging as a marketing tool most businesses think “cheap”. (Ouch, that‘s a little blunt).  But think about this for a moment; how many times have you have received a product with a simple white label addressed to you.  And then after you opened the package, the product you ordered was hidden within some brown, Kraft paper next to a plain white, generic packing slip!

That was it. Here’s your order! Done!  Subconsciously you were probably a “little” disappointed.  You were left with a subtle message that packaging wasn’t important and “cheap” was OK.

Consider this statement… “The customer today has been trained that marketing is part of the sales process and expects that marketing to be part of every step from beginning to end”.  And, color, images and design are a main component of that process that drives a relationship between buyer and seller. Without a conscious effort to incorporate these elements into the selling process, a customer’s trust, engagement and conversion diminishes.

Branding and your company’s image are magnified when marketing budget is allocated for every order that leaves your shipping department/office.  For instance, here are a few tactics…

  • Branded boxes, tape and shipping envelopes
  • Eye catching shipping labels
  • Colorful printed motivational inserts
  • Coupons for future orders and upsells
  • Compelling product fliers

When you begin to think “inside the box” your shipment becomes part of the selling process! You begin building the trust and partnership that money can buy to drive your business to success!

Give us a call and let’s get some good “stuff” inside your boxes and envelopes

As always, Design One Printing is here to “help your business grow”.

The gloves are off!  The sky’s the limit if you’re willing to explore and change.  Branding is more than one look.  It’s what works for the offer, campaign, conversation and mood. (Keep in mind that good design basics that will excite and inspire engagement with your audience should not be abandoned.)

It’s easy to overlook the obvious and get stuck in the same old, same old way of marketing. But since there is always a special occasion for almost every day, there is an endless supply of new and exciting themes.

Email offers, social media posts, website announcements and ads are just a few powerful tactics to get you announcement to your market.  The more you give, the more they will anticipate your next move.  Getting them excited with fun images, videos and headlines can increase conversion rates exponentially over a period of time.

One great way to “’get the ball” rolling is to sit down with your team and create a six month plan. (Don’t forget to put this in your marketing budget!) In the beginning maybe only one special occasion is all you can muster up.  But hey, it’s a beginning.  Get help with anything you can’t accomplish internally (images, videos, copy, social media posting, etc) and don’t stop!

Keep the ball rolling and at the end of the first 5 months of the campaign, sit down and create your next six-month plan.  At the end of your first year, you’ll realize that not only is your audience waiting impatiently for your next “holiday” creation, but so is your team and your company!

Ok…we’re always in a special occasion mood here at Design One Printing!  Let’s talk and see how we can help you get your first 6 month strategy ironed out and let’s start growing your business!
